Meet the Tomazini family — growers of exceptional Catuaí in the highlands of Castelo, Espírito Santo, about 150km inland from Vitória. With roots tracing back to Italy, the family is part of a thriving community of producers shaping Brazil’s specialty coffee movement.
Their story of innovation began in the early 2000s, when Cleosiomar Tomazini — an agricultural technician and early pioneer in the region — introduced greenhouse drying and mechanical processing to improve quality. Since then, the Tomazinis have become known for their dedication, regularly taking home accolades at local coffee competitions.
Today, that legacy continues through the next generation, including Wesley Tomazini, who plays an active role in keeping the family tradition alive — cultivating coffee on small plots, sharing knowledge, and deepening the connection to their land and community.
This lot is rich and comforting, with notes of blackberry and milk chocolate — a true taste of the Tomazini legacy.
