Kitchen closes when bagels run out usually around 1.30pm. Don't miss out!

Surrounded by skyscrapers and located underneath the iconic Grace Hotel, Mecca King Street still reigns as one of the best specialty coffee institutions Sydney has to offer.

This is where it all began. Since June 2005, what started as a simple espresso bar serving extraordinary coffee has turned into a point of reference for the Australian specialty coffee movement. This busy storefront opens it's doors everyday to welcome city dwellers that crave caffeine to help them overcome the hustle and bustle of the CBD.

Numerous baristas and industry leaders have emerged from this tiny specialty coffee hub tucked in the heart of the CBD.

Among these are: Jimmy Grant - Founder of Cornersmith, Marcelo Soto - Founder of the Cross Eatery and Shoji Sasa - Good Food Guide Barista of The Year 2012 and also Founder of Artificer Coffee.

Hugo Coiquaud runs a tight ship and his crew never fails to deliver. A small but powerful operation, Mecca King Street’s charm mesmerises local and international visitors alike. Treat yourself to a coffee, a bagel from Best Bagel (a pop-up that’s been operating in-house) or one of our pastry selections.

Here at King Street, you’ll lose yourself - at least for a couple of minutes- in this tiny oasis in the middle of the city.

Disconnect, you’re at Mecca King Street, you’ve arrived at your destination.
