This exceptional coffee comes from Finca San Isidro, a small, family-run farm located in the village of Cariaco Alto in Nariño, Colombia. Managed by Alfonso López and his wife Ermilá, the farm sits between 1,900 and 2,000 meters above sea level, nestled near the volcanic slopes of Galeras.
These high altitudes, paired with cool nights, consistent rainfall, and rich volcanic soil, create ideal growing conditions for the Castillo variety of coffee. This lot is fully washed using a traditional process—cherries are fermented for 18–24 hours, then carefully washed and dried over 8–10 days—producing a clean, balanced cup with vibrant character and excellent clarity.
