It's rare to secure a coffee that is traceable back to the individual producer in Rwanda, so we feel extremely fortunate to be able to share Philippe Sinoyobye's coffee with you. Phillippe's farm is just shy of a hectare in size, and surprisingly this is double the average farm size in Rwanda. With the help of his wife Angelique, they produce predominantly Red Bourbon - a variety that's delicious and has a long history in Rwanda. Phillippe's coffee marks the end of the Rwandan season for us, and we're going out with a bang - expect big florals and rich apricot flavours in the cup.
