Our export partner Felipe told us that when he first met João he told him, “I want to produce the best coffee in the world”. Since those famous words, João has lived up to them. Working with Felipe, the pair have been up to all kinds of experiments, from measuring the Brix of his cherries to harvesting coffee in the dead of the night - all for the sake of potential improvement. This is the second lot we purchased from João this year, It’s a natural processed lot of Obatá variety. In the cup it has a silky mouthfeel and flavours of milk chocolate and mango.
